Why Hard Work Isn’t Always Enough
Your player can work really hard and still not get as much out of their training as they could.
I know because I did it for years.
When I was 12, I knew I needed better hands and a better shot. Every once in a while I'd get motivated, head out to the driveway, and practice. But I didn't really have a plan to follow or anyone helping me understand how to improve. After about a week, video games usually started sounding a lot more fun.
Then around 14, I realized I needed to get stronger and faster too. I started finding workouts and trying different things on my own. I was willing to put in the work, but I didn't really understand which exercises would help me become a better hockey player or how to put everything together. I'd try one thing for a while, move on to something else, and hope I was on the right track.
And I kept getting cut from AAA.
Looking back, I don't think my problem was that I wasn't willing to work. I just didn't really know what I should be working on, how often I should be doing it, or how everything should fit together.
It wasn't until I was 23 that I finally hired a coach who gave me an actual training program to follow. For the first time, I wasn't guessing. I knew what I was training, why I was training it, and what I needed to do next.
The frustrating part is that I wish I'd had that at 13 y/o instead of figuring it out at 23.
That's a big reason I created Hockey Domination. I wanted players to have a clear training plan, coaches they could learn from, and somewhere to ask questions when they needed help.
They still have to want to do the work. But when kids know what to focus on and have coaches making training more engaging, I think it becomes a lot easier for them to get started and keep going.
IntroducinG…
Hockey Domination
You can give a player the best training program in the world, but if they don’t enjoy doing it, they’re probably not going to stick with it.
That’s why I want Hockey Domination to feel different.
Your player gets hockey-specific workouts and skills training they can do at home between practices, with coaches who make training engaging, explain how it relates to hockey, and help them understand the benefits of the work they’re putting in.
Through our live workouts and member community, they can also train with us, ask questions, and connect with other players who enjoy working on their game.
My goal isn’t to have parents constantly reminding their kids to train. It’s to help players enjoy the process, see their progress, and gradually develop their own motivation to improve.
Here’s what we focus on inside Hockey Domination:
Explosive Athleticism
Develop the strength, speed, and power to become a faster, stronger, more explosive skater.

Power
GET FASTER, STRONGER & MORE EXPLOSIVE
Getting faster on the ice isn’t just about doing more skating drills. A lot of the strength, power, coordination, and stability that help players become more explosive skaters can be developed away from the rink.
That’s what our Speed Accelerator™ training is designed to do. Instead of giving players a bunch of random exercises, we focus on the physical qualities that matter for hockey, like producing more power with each stride, maintaining balance while changing direction, and reacting quickly to what’s happening around them.
And we make it something players can work on right from home.
Inside Hockey Domination, your player gets:
Hockey-Specific Speed & Strength Workouts
Develop the strength, power, and athleticism that help players perform on the ice.
Age-Appropriate Training Programs
Clear instructions and progressions for players of different ages and training experience.
Coach-Led Workouts & Demonstrations
Learn proper technique and stay engaged while training.
Training That Fits Around Hockey
Continue developing without constantly feeling tired or sore for practices and games.
The goal is to help your player become a stronger, faster, more athletic hockey player, while making training something they can enjoy and feel good about doing.
Skill
BUILD BETTER HANDS & HOCKEY IQ
Getting faster and stronger can help your player perform better on the ice. But they still need the puck skills and decision-making ability to take advantage of their athleticism.
And a lot of those skills can be developed at home.
Through focused stickhandling, shooting, and hockey IQ training, players can build the skills and confidence to feel more comfortable with the puck. The more comfortable those skills become, the easier it can be to use them when the game speeds up.
That’s what our Skills Lab is designed to help players work on.
Inside Hockey Domination, your player gets:
Follow-Along Stickhandling Workouts
Train alongside Coach Kevin with sessions designed to improve puck control, coordination, and quicker hands.
Shooting & Scoring Training
Work on shooting technique, quicker releases, and getting more comfortable shooting the puck.
Hockey IQ & Decision-Making
Learn how to recognize common game situations, read the play, and make better decisions with the puck.
Skill Challenges & Training Sessions
Fun, focused training opportunities that encourage players to practice their skills and get more reps between practices.
The goal isn’t simply to help players develop better hands or a harder shot. I want them to feel comfortable enough with the puck that they’re willing to hold onto it, recognize their options, and try making plays instead of immediately getting rid of it.
Support
TRAIN WITH COACHES WHO CARE
One thing I’ve learned from working with young hockey players is that having a good coach can make a big difference in how they approach training.
Kids don’t always get excited about following a workout on their own. But when they have a coach demonstrating the exercises, encouraging them, and helping them understand how the training relates to hockey, it can become a much more enjoyable experience.
That’s a big part of what I want Hockey Domination to provide.
Between our workouts, live training sessions, and member community, your player has opportunities to learn from our coaches, ask questions, and feel connected to other players who enjoy working on their game.
Inside Hockey Domination, your player gets:
Coaching Support From Coach Kevin & Coach Tim
Ask questions about training and get guidance from the coaches behind Hockey Domination inside our member community.
Live Group Training Sessions
Join live workouts with our coaches for opportunities to train together, learn, and interact.
A Community of Hockey Players
Connect with other players who enjoy hockey, share their progress, and learn from each other.
Guidance When You Need It
Get help choosing programs, understanding exercises, and fitting training around practices and games.
For me, one of the most rewarding parts of coaching is seeing players start to enjoy training and recognize how it can help them improve.
I don’t want parents having to force their kids to do extra workouts. I want players to understand the value of training, enjoy the process, and gradually start taking ownership of their development.
That’s what I hope Hockey Domination helps them do.
When The Hard Work Starts Paying Off
When your player feels faster, stronger, and more comfortable with the puck, it can change how they approach the game. They might start getting to more loose pucks, feel stronger in battles, or have the confidence to hold onto the puck a little longer and make a play.
Hockey Domination gives you access to training developed by experienced hockey coaches, along with the opportunity to ask us questions and get guidance inside our member community.

Tim Lebbossiere created the Speed Accelerator™ workouts used in Hockey Domination™.
With over 8 years of experience coaching players from youth hockey to the NHL, Tim is currently in his fourth season with the Bruins after three seasons as Strength and Conditioning Coach for the AHL’s Providence Bruins.
He holds advanced degrees in Exercise Science and Human Performance and has worked with NCAA programs including UMass Lowell, Quinnipiac, and Holy Cross.
Tim’s approach focuses on developing the strength, speed, and power that translate to better performance on the ice. Inside Hockey Domination, he creates our strength and conditioning programs and helps members with training questions in the community.
I've spent over 13 years helping hockey players improve their skills, athleticism, and confidence through hockey-specific training.
Growing up, I was cut from AAA hockey five years in a row. Not because I didn't work hard, but because I didn't really understand how to train to become a better hockey player. I had the passion, but I lacked the right guidance.
That experience is a big reason I created Hockey Domination. I wanted to give players the training programs, coaching, and support I wish I'd had at their age.
Today, I develop and lead hockey-specific training sessions and help members inside our community. My goal is to help players improve, build confidence, and develop a genuine desire to work on their game.

FOR PLAYERS WHO LOVE HOCKEY AND WANT TO GET BETTER
Hockey Domination is for players who love the game and want to improve.
I don't expect young players to always be excited about extra training. That's something that often develops as they start seeing the benefits of their hard work. But I do believe the desire to improve needs to come from the player, not just their parents.
My goal is to make training fun and engaging so kids enjoy the process, build confidence, and gradually develop a love for working hard to get better.
